Stu Holmes.
Designs, Builds and Deploys Tech & AI Projects. Mostly on Purpose.
20+ years in tech and business. Still excited by it.
I build software systems, run successful projects, and love playing with new technology. Mostly AI things now — AI audits so companies know what to use AI for and how to go about it. AI process design and implementation. Agentic AI systems, LLM tooling, MCP plumbing, context engineering, and RAG that doesn't lie. Spent my early career deploying trading software to investment banks, and studied AI at uni in the late 90s — before it was cool.
Prince 2 Practitioner. Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (yes, that's still a thing). So I'm a developer who understands how enterprise projects work, or a project manager who speaks 'developer' — depending on your point of view. I translate between engineers who say "it depends" and executives who say "just ship it" — usually without anyone getting hurt.
When not yelling at AI agents: skiing badly with conviction, lifting heavy things, reading Iain M. Banks, walking golden retrievers, losing money on crypto for educational purposes, and pretending I understand quantum mechanics.
